Make Dog Bandanas for Rescue Dogs

Dog Bandanas
I found a great tutorial online to make dog bandanas that have a casing for the collar to slide through. This style of dog bandana is safer and more comfortable for the dogs to wear. While the original instructions called for single fabric, I double the fabric to increase wearing time. (If one side gets dirty, flip it over.)

Today I dropped off 35 dog bandanas for the rescue dogs at the Hawaiian Humane Society. I chose mostly bright cotton fabric, easy to wash and wear. Each bandana required less than 15 minutes to make. I consider it time very well spent if it can help a loving animal attract their "matching human" and find a furr-ever home.

 Dog Bandanas for Rescue Dogs
Please consider making dog bandanas for rescue dogs. Better yet, visit your local Humane Society or no-kill shelter and ask what you can do to help the animals. Every shelter will have a Wish List.

Our dog, Lana, was a rescue over two years ago. She is the absolute finest pet we have ever known! If you wish to make a dog bandana or two, here's how.

I pray everyone can experience and enjoy the love of an animal. Before you drop off your dog bandanas at the shelter, read the 5 Ways Pets Can Improve Your Health

Our and Lana's thanks to every person who is kind to animals.
